Our Commitment
Red Dune Contracting Company is committed to delivering work that meets the specified requirements, protecting the health and safety of everyone affected by our operations, and preventing harm to the environment. We hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification and we operate to those systems on every project.
Quality
We plan each contract against a documented inspection and test plan, verify work at defined hold points, and record the evidence. Nonconformities are raised, root-caused and closed out rather than quietly reworked. Client feedback and internal audit findings feed a measurable improvement programme reviewed at management level.
Health and Safety
Hazards are identified and risks assessed before work starts, and controls are selected using the hierarchy of control rather than defaulting to personal protective equipment. Every worker has the authority to stop work when a control is missing, and no worker will be disciplined for exercising it. Supervision is accountable for the conditions at the workface, not merely for the paperwork.
Environment
We identify the environmental aspects of each contract and control their impacts — waste, emissions, discharges, noise, dust and disturbance to habitat. Waste is segregated and disposed of through licensed routes with documented chain of custody. Compliance obligations are registered and monitored for every site we operate on.
Competence and Training
Nobody is assigned to a task they are not competent to perform. Competence is established by trade testing, practical assessment or professional registration as appropriate, and refresher training is scheduled before certification expires.
Consultation
Workers are consulted on matters affecting their health and safety through toolbox talks, safety committees and a reporting route that does not run through the person whose decision is being questioned. Near misses are welcomed as information, not treated as failures.
Monitoring and Review
Performance is measured with both leading and lagging indicators. Incidents are investigated to root cause and the corrective actions are tracked to closure. This policy and the systems supporting it are reviewed at least annually and whenever our activities change materially.
