HSE Trainer
Deliver accredited HSE programmes in English and Arabic. Minimum five years' field HSE experience plus a recognised train-the-trainer qualification.
About the Role
The HSE Trainer delivers Red Dune's accredited safety programmes — at our Al Jubail centre and in-house at client sites — to workers, supervisors and managers across the industrial sector.
We are looking for someone who has done the work, not only taught it. Field credibility is what makes a room of experienced technicians listen.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accredited HSE programmes to awarding body standards
- Run practical sessions on the training ground — confined space, work at height, fire, first aid and rescue
- Assess learners fairly against documented criteria, and refuse to pass those who have not demonstrated competence
- Prepare and maintain training materials, lesson plans and assessment papers
- Deliver in-house programmes at client sites across the Kingdom
- Maintain accurate attendance, assessment and certification records
- Keep training equipment inspected, serviceable and fit for use
- Support awarding body audits and centre approval requirements
- Contribute to new course development as our portfolio grows
Required Qualifications
- Education: a recognised HSE qualification — NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA 30 or AOSH Level 3 or above
- Experience: minimum 5 years' field HSE experience in construction, oil and gas or petrochemical
- Recognised train-the-trainer qualification
- Able to deliver confidently in English; Arabic strongly preferred
- Transferable Iqama or Saudi national
Preferred / Desirable
- Approved trainer status with AOSH, IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent
- Assessor qualification
- First aid instructor certification
- Ability to deliver in Urdu or Hindi as well
- Valid Saudi driving licence

- Holds a room — including tired shift workers at the end of a rotation
- Explains a hazard so that it is understood, not just heard
- Fair and consistent as an assessor
- Comfortable teaching people more senior than you
