QA/QC Inspector
Carry out inspection and test activities across civil, mechanical and piping scopes, maintain ITP records and raise NCRs. Relevant CSWIP, NDT or equivalent certification required.
About the Role
The QA/QC Inspector verifies that what is built matches what was specified — across civil, mechanical and piping scopes — and produces the records that prove it.
You will work to approved inspection and test plans, witness and sign hold points, raise nonconformances when required, and see them through to close-out.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out inspection and test activities in line with approved ITPs and project specifications
- Witness and sign hold and witness points, and coordinate client and third-party inspection attendance
- Review welder qualifications, WPS/PQR and consumable control
- Verify material certificates and traceability against the specification
- Raise, track and close nonconformance reports and corrective actions
- Maintain complete and auditable inspection records, dossiers and as-built documentation
- Monitor calibration status of inspection and test equipment
- Support internal and client audits and surveillance visits
- Report quality performance and recurring issues to the QA/QC Manager
Required Qualifications
- Education: diploma or degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Experience: minimum 5 years in a QA/QC inspection role on industrial or construction projects
- Relevant certification — CSWIP 3.1, AWS CWI, or NDT Level II in at least one method
- Working knowledge of ASME, AWS, API or equivalent codes
- Good written English — your reports must stand up to audit
- Transferable Iqama or Saudi national
Preferred / Desirable
- Aramco approval (SAP / SAIC familiarity) or SABIC approval
- NDT Level II in multiple methods (RT, UT, MT, PT)
- Experience across more than one discipline (civil, mechanical, piping, E&I)
- Lead auditor training in ISO 9001
Skills & Competencies
