Course Overview
First aid is the skill people hope never to use and cannot afford to fumble. Every Red Dune first aid course is at least half practical: learners work on manikins, apply real dressings and run timed casualty scenarios until the response is automatic.
What You Will Be Able to Do
- Assess an incident scene safely and prioritise casualties
- Perform adult CPR and operate an automated external defibrillator
- Manage severe bleeding, shock, burns and fractures
- Recognise heat illness — a leading risk in Saudi field conditions
- Hand over accurately to professional emergency services
Course Content
- The role and legal position of the first aider
- Primary survey, recovery position and airway management
- CPR and AED for adults, with choking management
- Bleeding, wounds, shock and amputation
- Fractures, sprains, spinal injury and casualty movement
- Burns, chemical exposure and eye injuries
- Heat stress, heat exhaustion and heat stroke
- First aid kits, records and incident reporting
