Centre Policies

The commitments that govern how we design, deliver, assess and certify every programme.

Red Dune Training Centre is committed to delivering training that meets the requirements of our learners, clients and accrediting bodies. We maintain documented processes for course design, trainer competence, delivery and assessment, and we review performance against measurable objectives at least annually.

We provide a safe environment for learners, staff and visitors across our classrooms, workshops and practical training areas. All practical training is conducted under supervision with inspected equipment, documented risk assessments and emergency arrangements appropriate to the activity.

Access to our programmes is determined by prerequisites and competence, never by nationality, gender, religion, age or disability. Reasonable adjustments are made wherever they can be provided without compromising the integrity of an assessment.

Assessments are conducted fairly, consistently and in line with the requirements of the awarding body. Any suspected malpractice — including impersonation, plagiarism or collusion — is investigated, and confirmed malpractice results in withdrawal of the certificate and notification of the awarding body.

Learners may appeal an assessment decision within 14 days of notification. Appeals are reviewed by an assessor not involved in the original decision. Complaints are acknowledged within two working days and resolved within ten, with escalation to the awarding body available if the learner remains dissatisfied.

Cancellations more than 14 days before the course start date receive a full refund. Between 7 and 14 days, 50% is refunded or the booking may be transferred to a later date at no cost. Within 7 days the fee is non-refundable, though a substitute learner may attend in place of the original registrant.

We collect only the personal data required to register, assess and certify learners, and to meet awarding body and regulatory obligations. Data is stored securely, is not sold or shared for marketing purposes, and is retained only for as long as certification records require.

Certificates are issued only on successful completion of all assessment requirements and are traceable to a unique reference number. Employers and third parties may verify any certificate through our online verification service without charge.
