Course Overview
Scaffold failures are almost always traceable to a missing tie, an overloaded bay or an inspection that was signed without being done. Training happens in our yard on real material, with learners building, loading, faulting and inspecting structures under supervision.
What You Will Be Able to Do
- Erect, alter and dismantle scaffold safely in the correct sequence
- Identify components, load classes and permissible bay loads
- Apply tying, bracing and foundation requirements
- Carry out and record a statutory scaffold inspection
- Apply and interpret scaffold tagging systems correctly

- Platforms, guardrails, toe boards and access
